DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Today, you board your flight to Sarajevo.
In the evening, we will all meet for dinner in a local restaurant to get to know each other and go through the details of the trip.
DAY 2: SARAJEVO – SIGHTSEEING & GETTING TO KNOW THE CITY
Included meals: Breakfast, Food Tasting, Picknick Dinner
Time to explore Sarajevo! Set off with a local guide on a food-themed walking tour of Sarajevo, the Jerusalem of Europe.
- Learn about the city’s religions and history
- Try Bosnian delicacies such as baklava, cheese, and cold cuts at the local market & shops
- View the Ottoman old town
- Discover the place where WWI started
- Learn the art of drinking Bosnianc coffee
- and much more…
This evening, join us for an urban hike through one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Sarajevo to a hidden view point where we will enjoy a picknick and the sunset together.
DAY 3: LUKOMIR – EXPLORE BOSNIA’S REMOTEST VILLAGE
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch
An active day awaits! We hike around 15 kilometers (2.5 hours one way) to the village of Lukomir, a haven of peace in our fast-paced world.
- Hike along the second-deepest canyon of Europe
- Experience Bosnian village life
- Sample delicious locally-made pita
Drive back to Babin Do on Bjelašnica after the hike and enjoy free time for the rest of the day.
DAY 4: BJELAŠNICA MOUNTAIN
Included meals: Breakfast, Tasting, Lunch
Today, you make your own jam with a local cook!
- Collect fruit and herbs on the mountain
- Prepare your own healthy jam and learn about all the things nature can provide for us
After our jam-making class and a farm-to-table dinner, we continue our drive through the beautiful mountain landscape and the stunning Neretva canyon to Mostar.
Enjoy free time in Mostar in the late afternoon and evening.
DAY5: HERZEGOVINA WINE REGION
Included meals: Breakfast, Wine Tastings, Dinner
Let’s go chasing waterfalls & wine glasses!
After breakfast, we head for a morning swim to the most beautiful waterfall of the Herzegovina region. When we get hungry, we drive further to the beautiful boutique winery of a Herzegovinian winemaker, where we will enjoy a tasting of his signature wines and some local mezze (snacks).
After a short break, where we check into our accommodation for the night, and you have time for a stroll or a dip in their pool before we meet again to make our own cuvée out of three red wine grapes that you can take home as a souvenir.
Dinner this night is a barbecue at the vineyard. After that, we walk back to our accommodation together. 
DAY 6: HERZEGOVINA – SARAJEVO
Included meals: Breakfast, Farewell dinner
Travel back to Sarjaevo today, stopping along the way at some of the most beautiful sights of Herzegovina.
- Climb up to the viewpoint over the stunning Ottoman village Počitelj
- Marvel at the beauty of nature at Bunski Kanal
- Visit Herzegovina’s most photographed sight – the dervish monastery in Blagaj
- Hike up to the Blagaj fortress for a beautiful goodbye view of Herzegovina
Then, continue on to Sarajevo, where you’ll celebrate your trip with your fellow travelers at tonight’s farewell dinner – a traditional sač, barbecue under the bell.
DAY 7: DEPARTURE
Included meal: Breakfast (excluding early morning departures)
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Tour price is per person, before flights, and based on two travellers per hotel room. Upon sign-up, we will email you our bank details for the 30 % down payment towards the trip.
The minimum group size for this tour is 5 participants. Down payments will be refunded in case the tour cannot take place. We recommend you do NOT book your flights before we confirm the tour.
