On this guided hike, we will give you an insight into the Winter Olympics and explain why the mountains around Sarajevo were both a curse and a blessing for the city – as the venue of a world-famous sporting event, but also as the basis for the siege of the city.
The hike starts with the most beautiful view of Sarajevo from the cable car. It only takes you 10 minutes to get from city life straight to nature.
You will get acquainted with the wild nature of Bosnia and Herzegovina and after placing your hand on the summit cross at the top of Trebević, we will start our descent – not without a lunch stop at the famous mountain hut Jure Franko.
We will reach our starting point again after about 5 to 6 hours, 10 kilometers and 550 meters of altitude
