This journey is a week in which you experience, hear and taste coexistence in the daily life of people who have lived side by side for centuries and reached out to one another in difficult moments.

Bosnia and Herzegovina stands for resilience and reconciliation. During this journey, those words become people.

You engage in conversations with representatives of religious communities, civil society activists, and individuals who lived through the war and now actively contribute to reconciliation and trust-building processes.

It includes visits to the Srebrenica Memorial Center, the Inter-Religious Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the religious sites of the country's four traditional religious communities.

A portion of the program takes place in Herzegovina, where you explore the diverse historical layers of Bosnia and Herzegovina—ranging from the Ottoman era to the Austro-Hungarian legacy.

The entire programme is carefully designed to weave together history, culture, gastronomy, and contemporary social processes into a unique educational experience with space for questions and moments of reflection.

05Day · From Bosnia to Herzegovina

From Sarajevo into Herzegovina

◆ Visit to Tito's Bunker (ARK): Cold War history

◆ Olive oil tasting and conversation with the nuns of the Franciscan monastery Potoci near Mostar

◆ Visit to the Orthodox monastery of Žitomislići

◆ City tour of Mostar and visit to the Dervish monastery of Blagaj

◆ Traditional dinner of grilled lamb and return to Sarajevo

06Day · Reconciliation

◆ Moderated conversation with three former soldiers of different ethnicities
