Frequently asked questions about our Bosnia road trips

This road trip is perfect for you if you want to be independent but don't feel like dealing with the stress of planning, and if you'd rather travel with local tips than just tick off the main sights. It's suited for couples or groups of friends up to four people, and it's ideal for anyone visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time.

The base price includes your rental car, 7 nights in selected 3-star hotels with breakfast, and the .Cheyf Roadbook. The city tour with Nermin in Sarajevo is always included too. Everything else — the food tour, the guided Lukomir hike, the wine tastings — is optional, and you can add it on at checkout.

Yes, completely freely. Book the food tour and skip the wine tasting. Take the guided Lukomir hike and explore Sarajevo on your own. The Roadbook covers every day regardless of what you add on — you're never left without a plan.

A standard EU driver's license is completely sufficient. The roads between cities are well-maintained and easy to drive. Some mountain roads — especially on Bjelašnica — are winding and narrow, so confidence behind the wheel helps here. Your Roadbook includes notes on the route for every day, so nothing catches you off guard.

Moderate. The hike involves some elevation gain and uneven terrain, but no technical experience or special equipment is needed. Good hiking shoes and reasonably solid fitness are enough.

You'll receive your .Cheyf Roadbook before departure, so you can plan at your own pace, look forward to the trip, and know exactly where you're headed from day one.

That's exactly what WhatsApp support is for. We're reachable throughout the entire trip — for questions about the route, restaurant recommendations, last-minute changes, or anything else that comes up along the way. You're traveling independently, but not on your own.

Yes, extra nights are available at a fixed price per night, in the same 3-star standard. You can add an extra night at checkout.

That's possible, but you'll need to book separately, since each group gets its own car. Feel free to contact us in advance, and we'll check whether there's enough availability.
